Whitin Community Center

A Community blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross to help ensure hospitals have the lifesaving blood supply they need. Volunteers will support event setup, donor check-in, hospitality, and overall flow to create a welcoming and efficient experience for donors. Every donation can help save lives, and this event plays a vital role in supporting patients in our region and beyond.

Cars In The Park will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10am-3pm, in our beautiful 7.5 acre Whitin Park. This event will encompass a car, truck & motorcycle show, with vendors, food trucks, 50/50, music, entertainment & more! In 2025 we had over 3000 attendees and over 300 vehicles entered into the show, we are hoping to make this year a great success with your attendance! Cars In The Park is one of the largest events we host here at the Whitin Community Center and it brings a fun and engaging community event to the Blackstone Valley for all ages and backgrounds to enjoy. We cannot do this event successfully without great car enthusiasts like you!

Picnic In The Park will be held in the Whitin Community Center's Whitin Park on June 6, 2026 from 10am-2pm. We are looking for help with: park setup, take down, 50/50 raffle, children's activities, splash zone attendant, photographers, welcome ambassadors, vendor check in and direction, and park maintenance.
